Where do adoptable animals come from?
Dogs / Cats
Some have been found homeless or deserted, while many others are received from members of the public who are no longer able to care for them. When animals arrive at our facility, they are evaluated for physical and behavioral suitability and given the finest medical care, which includes spay and neuter.
Horses
Unfortunately, most horses are confiscated from abusive or neglectful situations. However, a few may come from "family" situations such as divorce, illness of the owner, a death in the family or simply not enough financial resources to keep the horses.
