The Humane Society of Garland County is proud to announce its partnership with Kroger grocery stores. Recently, the organization has made available HSGC Kroger Gift Cards for it's members and friends. This program will make a BIG difference in our ability to rescue and care for abandoned, sick, abused and neglected animals in Garland County.
The program works the same as most any gift card says Melinda Greenwell, President of HSGC. "Every time you shop at Kroger, show your HSGC Kroger Gift Card at the front service desk and pay to have added to the card the amount you expect your groceries to cost. Alternatively, you could put a larger amount on the card, add to it less frequently. When checking out, use your HSGC Kroger Gift Card to pay for your groceries. If your bill is more, you make up the difference. If it is less, the credit remains on your card for next time."
Kroger in turn donates five percent of every card purchase to the HSGC! When just 200 families use the gift card to purchase $50 worth of groceries each week for a year, Kroger will have donated $26,000 to the HSGC!
HSGC Kroger Gift Cards are available by contacting the Humane Society of Garland County at 501-623-5012.
